Sigma DP1

I’ve been following this product for quite some time and at last, the spec of this powerful compact camera came out few days ago.. Sigma adalah salah satu pengeluar optik yang terbesar dari Jepun dan kerap menghasilkan lens2 yang murah untuk pengguna pelbagai jenis camera SLR. So what is Sigma DP1?

Dubbed by Sigma as a camera with no known category since this is the 1st full spec compact digital camera with the power of SLR. Maknanya macam compact SLR le nih but without the interchangeable lens. Huh, mantap bukan. Apakah yg membezakan compact camera dan SLR? Saiznya? or beratnya? Jawapan yang tepat bagi aku adalah saiz sensornya. Sensor dalam compact memang kecik menyebabkan tak semua warna atau cahaya dapat masuk ke sensor untuk direkodkan berbanding sensor SLR yg sememangnya besar. Untuk Sigma DP1, size of the image sensor adalah 20.7mm x 13.8mm, which approximately seven to twelve times larger than the 1/1.8inch to 1/2.5inch image sensors used in ordinary compact digital cameras. Hampir same besarnya dengan saiz Nikon DX format which is 23.7mm x 15.7mm.

Selain itu, apa yang best aku rase camera ni incorporates both RAW and JPEG image recording formats enabling photographers to capture the highest possible picture definition and smaller file sizes. Memang mantap.. Yang lain2 itu macam biase la, chip baru, sensor baru, lens baru so image processeing tu jadi lebih lawa la macam SLR kebanyakkannya kata Sigma.
